Frank C. Herrick, 59, of Saranac died Saturday in Blodgett Hospital, Grand 
Rapids, where he had been a patient since November 27.  He had been in ill 
health for some time.  He was born November 18, 1895, in Gaylord and lived for 
some time in Flint and moved to Saranac about 18 years ago.  He was employed 
at Gibsons in Greenville.

Surviving are his wife, Hazel; one son, Robert of Saranac; two daughters, Mrs. 
Lewis Jackson and Mrs. Carl Soderstrom of Grand Rapids; one grandson in 
Saranac; one brother, Orba Herrick of Bay City.  

Mr. Herrick was a member of the Saranac community church, the Odd Fellows club 
and the Congregators club.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Morris funeral 
home and burial will be at Saranac cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Forrest 
David, Roy Kimble, Dee Decker, Fred Bowen Sr., Richard Roe and Harry Hansen.
