Mrs. F. D. Herron, Saranac Resident, Interred Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. F. D. Herron, who died at her home in Saranac 
Thursday following a long illness with organic heart trouble, were held from 
the home Sunday afternoon.  Rev. W. L. Halladay, pastor of the Congregational 
church at Saranac officiated, and burial was made in the Clarksville cemetery.

Mrs. Herron, who was 66 years of age, had spent the greater part of her life in 
the vicinity of Saranac.  She was a member of the Congregational church, the 
Mite society and the W. C. T. U.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Herron is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ida Colton, 
Ionia; two brothers; and two stepsons, Earl, of Lakeview, and Otis, of Boston 
township.  Her brothers reside at Mt. Pleasant and Buffalo.

Mrs. Herrron’s maiden name was Miss Narcissus Firkinson, daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Charles Firkenson.  She married on June 22, 1905.
