Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1976

SARANAC- Russell E. Herron, 73, of 5180 Page road, died Monday evening at his 
home.

He was born in Saranac June 14, 1903 and was a machine operator for Carrigan 
Polish and Buffing company in Saranac and a policeman in the Detroit area. 

Mrs. Herron was also a member of Moose lodge 998 in Ionia.

Survivors include one brother, Dale, of Lowell and a half brother, Arthur 
Norton of Lowell. Several cousins also survive.

Services are Thursday at 1:30 pm at the Roetman funeral home in Saranac with 
Rev. James Frank of Galilee Baptist church officiating.

Burial is in Saranac cemetery.
