EDNA SCHEID HERRON
A former Ionia Resident, Edna Scheid Herron of 968 Spence, Pontiac, died Saturday 
morning in a hospital in Pontiac.

Born in Keene township December 31, 1904, she was the daughter of Albert and Mary 
Wickham Scheid. She was married to Clarence Steele and he died in 1936. She then 
married Omer Herron and he survives.

Besides the husband, she leaves two sons, Richard and John Steele and two daughters,
Mrs. Kathleen Genderon and Pauline; 13 grandchildren and several great
grandchildren, all of the Pontiac area; brothers, Carl and Richard Scheid of Pontiac and Bernard Scheid
of Saranac; four sisters, Mrs. Ellen Dollinger of Jackson, Mrs. Helen Egbert of
Pontiac, Mrs. Lucille Shively of Leesburg, Ind., and Mrs. Marie Leonard of Palo.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at Voorheis Siple funeral home, Perry,
Pontiac. Interment will be at Pontiac.
