FOUND DEAD IN CHAIR WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Former Resident of Campbell Brother of Mrs. George Catt of This Place

Another one of our familiar old men passed away quietly Wednesday afternoon. 
John Herron who has resided for some time in the building known as the G.A.R. 
hall was found dead sitting in hi chair, by his nephew Orvin Catt. The man 
who was about 80 years old had had the "flu" but was thought to be 
recovering.

Mr. Herron leaves a sister Mrs George Catt of this village and another sister 
Mrs Maggie Darby of Campbell township. Mr. Herron lived in Campbell near what 
is known as Pinhook for many years before coming to Lake Odessa. A brother 
Dennis Herron died about a year ago.

The deceased was a member of the Progressive Dunkard Church and a man of 
Christian spirit, always kind and quiet in his manner and cheery withal.

The funeral will be held at the Wortley home Friday at 2:30 p.m.. Burial will 
be in Clarksville Cemetery.
