Lake O. Wave-Times, Fri. April 23, 1920

Anna S. Holmes was born in Connersville, Oakland County, Michigan, May 9, 1857. 
She was united in marriage to John W. Herron, April 14, 1897. She departed this 
life April 15, 1920, at the age of 62 years, 11 mos. and 6 days.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two brothers and three sisters and a 
host of friends. She united with the Presbyterian church when a young girl and 
later she united with the Campbell Brethren church of which she remained a 
faithful member until Jesus came to claim his own.

Her suffering ended with the day;
yet lived she at its close,
And breathed the long, long night away
In Statuelike repose.
But when the sun, in all his state,
Illumed the eastern skies,
She passed through Glory's morning gate
And walked in Paradise.
