Erwin O. Herron, 84, of Deer Lake, Greenville, died Sunday, Nov. 5. 1989. at
Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. Mr. Herron was born Aug. 6, 1905, at
Clarksville, the son of Otis and Pearl Chapman Herron. 

He is survived by his wife, the former Iola B. Walter, whom he married Nov. 26,
1930, at Elkhart. Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Arlen (Valerie) Husted, Traverse City;
a son, Jason and Donna Herron, Kentwood; a niece, Pauline Colbert, Pontiac; five
grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a
brother, Omer. 

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Teman Funeral Home. Greenville,
Pastor Harry R. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in South Boston Cemetery.
Visitation is tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the funeral home.
