WOODLAND- David Loren Hershberger, 86, Woodland, died Monday at home.

He was born April 8, 1896 in Centralia, Ill. to David and Lida Dickens 
Hershberger.

He moved to the Woodland area in 1901, leaving in 1932 to live in Indiana and 
retuning in 1942. He farmed in the Woodland area.

He was a member of the Wood Grove Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Vera and one son, David of Woodland, three 
daughters: Carolyne Oberman of Fenville, Joann Popping of Indiana and Barbara 
Corl of Indiana, two step-daughters, Wilma O'Neil of Lansing and Ruth Cobb of 
Clearwater, Fla., 14 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and 10 great 
grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Ralph of Iron Mountain and Wayne of Dixon, Ill; 
and one sister-in-law, Ruth Hershberger of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops Funeral 
Chapel in Lake Odessa, with the Rev. Pamela Owens officiating.

Burial will be in the Woodland Memorial Park.
