Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 2 Jan 1958

Catherine J. Hesling, 75, died at her home in Palo at 6 o’clock Wednesday
morning after a two year illness.  She was born September 29, 1882 in
Darysville, Iowa.  Mrs. Hesling was a member of the Palo Methodist church.

Preceded in death by her husband, May 21, 1950, she is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Leone Baxter of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Clarence Waltz of
Debuque, Iowa, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the Myers funeral home
and burial will be in the Palo cemetery.
