Louis J. Hesling, 70 years of age, died at his home in Palo Sunday after being 
seriously ill for three weeks.

He was born July 14, 1879, at Council Bluffs Iowa, and made his home there until 
moving to Palo two years ago. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine of Palo, two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Baxter of 
Palo and Mrs. Clarence Walz of Dubuque, Iowa, and one grandchild.

The body may be seen at Myers funeral home after 5 p.m. Monday. Funeral 
arrangements will be announced later.
