Arthur P. Hessler, 68, of Belding, Grattan Township, passed away Tuesday, Feb.
15, 2005, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus, grand Rapids.  Arthur was born
Aug. 8, 1936, in Grattan, the son of Paul and Mildred Cranmer Hessler.  He
graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1954.  Art was a lifelong
orchard farmer and a member of the Belding Fruit Sales.  He loved his family and
enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was married Aug. 6, 1955, to Doris Scott.

He was preceded in death by his father.  He is survived by his wife, Doris;
their children, Debbie Hessler of Grattan, Dawn and Bernard Talbot of Rockford,
Scott Hessler, Denise Hessler, both of Grattan, Craig and Lisa Hessler of
Clarksville; grandchildren, Victoria Hessler, Paul Hessler, John Talbot, Emily
Hessler, Ryan Hessler, Jake Hessler; mother, Mildred Hessler; sister and
brother-in-law, Joan and Paul Reeves of Belding; brother and sister-in-law, Earl
and Carol Scott of Saranac; and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastors
Kendall Harger and Don Baker officiating.  Interment is in Rest Haven Memory
Gardens, Belding.  Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.  Memorial contributions may
be given to a charity of one’s choice.
