HETHERINGTON
Charles E. Hetherington,age 95, of Greenville, MI formerly of Lyons,MI passed 
away October 13, 2021. He was born September 27, 1926 in Wynn, Michigan the son 
of Elmer C.and Mary V.(DeHart) Hetherington.

Charles married Neoma Pauline Carie August 9, 1945, she passed away in 1989. He 
joined the Navy shortly after his marriage, enlisting in 1944 serving on the USS 
Boise until March of 1946, during WWII. He returned home and went to work as an 
electrician at Lansing Drop Forge. After his first wife passed away, he married 
Verna Goff in November of 1991. She preceded him in death in 2000. Charles loved 
spending time with all of his family.

Charles is survived by his children; Christine M.(James) Anderson of Belding, 
Mary P. (David) Mangus of Lyons, Joseph F.(K-Leen) Hetherington of Lyons and 
Tracy A.(Gerald) Cole of Kentucky, 15 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, 
26 great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren and 8 great-great- 
grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, son 
Robert Daniel, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
