                      MUIR IS SHOCKED BY TRAGIC DEATH
                 Wife of Former Merchant Dies in Illinois

Muir- Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hettler were shocked this week to learn 
of the tragic automobile accident near Caberry, Illinois, which took the 
life of Mrs. Hettler and left her husband in the hospital suffering 
fractured skull and ribs. 

The couple, who maintained a home in Muir, reported returning to their 
Caberry  home from Minnesota Monday when their care struck a parked truck.

Mr. Hettler was a former Muir hardware store owner. Funeral services for his 
wife were held Thursday at Caberry.
