Evelyn F. Heyboer, age 82, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2005.  She was 
born on November 26, 1922 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of John and Lena 
(Marsman) Goodblood.  Mrs. Heyboer was a member of LeValley United Methodist 
Church in Ionia.  Evelyn married Warren Heyboer on August 10, 1944, and 
together they shared 47 years.  She enjoyed reading, her church card ministry, 
and crocheting items, which she gave away to friends and family.  

Preceding her in death were husband Warren in 1992; sister, Ruth Fryling; 
brother-in-law, Bud Fryling.  Surviving are her daughter, Arlene (Ken) Lee of 
Lake Odessa; brothers, Richard A. (Sandra) Heyboer of Portland and sister, 
Marian (Merle) Ezinga of Jenison.

The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Mark Johnson, Pastor at 1 
p.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 at the LeValley United Methodist Church, Ionia.  
Interment will take place in the spring at East Sebewa Cemetery.  The family 
will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland, from 2 
p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.  
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the LeValley United 
Methodist Church, or the Charity of One’s Choice, in memory of Mrs. Evelyn F. 
Heyboer.
