HEYBOER

Sandra Lynn Heyboer age 78 of Portland passed away May 3, 2022. She was born 
September 15, 1943 in Grand Rapid the daughter of Henry and Ethel (Kladder) 
Hoort. Sandi married Richard Heyboer June 19, 1970 in Lake Odessa together 
raising 4 children.

Sandi was an active member of LeValley United Methodist Church, involving 
herself with Funeral Luncheons, Vacation Bible School, Bible Study and 
Children's Church. She also was a former 4-H leader and a Caregiver for many. 
Sandi adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Surviving Sandi is her loving husband, Richard Heyboer of Portland, Children; 
Kevin (Tammy) Heyboer of Lyons, Tim (Connie) Heyboer of Portland, Steve (Beth) 
Heyboer of Portland and Sue Martin of Portland. Grandchildren; Brian (Abby) 
Wiles, Grant Wiles, Ryan Allen,Keith Heyboer, Nathan Heyboer, Lilly Heyboer, 
Paul Heyboer, Eli Heyboer, Jennifer Martin, Tiffany (Aaron)Martin, Alexis (Josh) 
Eldridge and Skye Martin. Great grandson Alex McClimans. Brothers Larry (Gerri) 
Hoort of Lake Odessa and Randy Hoort of Lake Odessa. Many nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Sharon Hoort.

Funeral services for Sandi was held at Outreach Church, 7831 N.Jordan Lake RD, 
Lake Odessa,Michigan 48849 Friday, May 6th at 1:00 p.m with Pastor Fred Lab 
officiating. Interment East Sebewa Cemetery. Visitation was at the Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia on Thursday 4-7 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions 
to Zion Food Pantry or IM Kids 3rd Meal. Online condolences may be made at
