Mrs. Annis Hiar, 76, who had resided in the vicinity of Sebewa Corners for 
many years, died at her home there early last week, after an illness of 
several months.  Funeral services were held Friday and burial was in Sebewa 
cemetery.

Deceased was the widow of Charles Hiar.  She was born in Ohio, and came to 
Eaton county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gardner, at the age of eight.

Surviving children are Ralph, Portland; William North Dakota; Clyde, Lansing, 
Pearl, Marsden, Sask.; Harold, living at home,; George, Marsden, Sask.; Mrs. 
Opal Doolittle, Mulliken.
