The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, October 21, 1971

Mrs. Florence Hiar, 79, of 538 Riverside drive, Portland, died Wednesday at 
Capitol City nursing home in Lansing.  Her husband, Ralph, died in 1969.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Margaret Knight of Owosso.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  Rev. Maurice Christenson of Portland Baptist church will officiate 
and interment will be at Portland cemetery.
