Portland Review – Tuesday, 28 January 1919
Mrs. Fred Hiar died at her home in Danby early Monday morning, having been ill 
with lung trouble for three months.  She is survived by her husband and six 
children, ranging in age from 3 to 19 years.  The family reside on Eugene 
Lyon’s farm.  Funeral services are to be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
