The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 17, 1931

There was a large number attending the funeral services for Robert H. Hicks, 
of Pewamo, Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Floyd N. Drake, at the home, 
Mrs. George Steadman and Plynn Woodworth provided the music.  Interment was in 
East Plains cemetery.

Mr. Hicks died Sunday following months of illness that resulted from an 
automobile accident last October.

Those serving as bearers were George Waigle, S. Clark, Otto Ulrien, Erric Gee, 
S. Thuma, and E. Parks.
