Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. Nov. 23, 1979

IONIA- Funeral services for Ferne L. Hicks, 83, of Ionia, were conducted 
Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ronald Dow 
officiating.

Organist was J.D. Brown.

burial was in the Tuttle Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were Ray Coon, Ray Jameson and Byron Teaker.

Active pallbearers were Al Brooks, Roger Warren, Richard Sible, Ray Elliott, Al 
Hall and Norman Kentner.

Attending the funeral services as a group were members of the church's Bethany 
Circle and the WWI Veterans and Auxiliary.

After the graveside services a luncheon was served to family and friends at the 
church.

Funeral arrangements by the Leddick Funeral Home.
