The Belding Banner, Thursday, November 5, 1936


Mrs. Adah Hicks, resident of this city for many years, passed away early 
Wednesday morning at the home of her only daughter, Mrs. John Rasmussen, in 
Easton township.  Although Mrs. Hicks had been in ill health for some time, it 
was not until the last two weeks that she was confined to her bed.  She leaves 
besides her daughter, two grandsons, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Russ of Saranac.  
The body will repose at the Fitzjohn funeral home until late Thursday 
afternoon, at which time it will be removed to the daughter’s home in Easton.  

Funeral services will be held there at 2 o’clock Saturday with Rev. H. S. Ellis 
of Greenville officiating.  Burial will be in the Easton cemetery.
