Burdette A. M. “Andy” Hiffner Sr., 65, of Belding, passed away Saturday evening,
July 16, 2005, at his home.  Andy was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Mount Pleasant, the
son of Carl and Elsie Mason Hiffner.  During his working years Andy was a truck
driver.  He was a member of Oakwood Christian Reformed Church, Belding.  He was
married on July 21, 1990, in Belding, to Robin Phenix.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Launa Elsie; two brothers,
Keith and Kenneth; brother-in-law, Donald Lorenz; sister-in-law, Catherine
Hiffner; and father-in-law, Edward Wilholt.

He is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Annette Hiffner at home, Elsie and
Harry Foster of Mount Pleasant, Carl Hiffner of Barryton, Andy Hiffner Jr.,
Brenda Lee Hiffner, both of Florida; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter;
sister, Hilma Lorenz of Mount Pleasant; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Cheryl and Anthony Carpenter of Grand Rapids, Paul and Dora Phenix of Battle
Creek, Monte and Trish Newland of Belding, Nathan and Christina Jessup of
Greenville, Will and Stephanie Cole of Orleans; father-in-law and mother-in-law;
Paul and Rosalinda Phenix and Nancy Wilholt, all of Belding; and several nieces,
nephews and cousins.

Funeral and committal services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belidng with Pastor Dennis Johnson of Greenville Bible Methodist
Church officiating.  Private interment is in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.  The
family will greet relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral
home.  Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of one’s choice.
