Fred G. Higbee, 72, died Wednesday morning July 22 at 11:45 o'clock.  He was 
born on the Higbee farm near Orleans in 1864.

Surviving are his widow Hattie of Ionia, two sons Dean Higbee of Dayton, Ohio, 
and J. H. Higbee of Ionia;  two daughters Miss Eva Higbee and Mrs. Frank Minier 
of Ionia; one brother Edward Higbee of Ronald township and one sister Mrs. Flora 
Penny of Seattle, Washington.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon July 24 from the home of Mrs. 
Frank Minier, 331 Division street at 2 o'clock.  Rev. John Stewart of Portland 
will officiate and interment will be at Higbee cemetery.
