The Ionia County News, Thursday, May 16, 1935
Mrs. Luella Higbee, 76, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glenn Thorpe, 
Thursday afternoon, May 9, after a week of illness.  Rev. M. W. Duffey 
officiated at the funeral, which was held Sunday afternoon from the Stebbins 
Funeral home.  Burial was in Easton township.
