Sentinel-Sttandard - Monday, May 5, 1975

Grace R. Higbee, 80 of 1667 Parmeter road, Ionia, died Monday evening at Ionia 
Memorial hospital after an extended illness.

She was born in Detroit, Sept. 30, 1894, the daughter of Herman and Irma Rank. 
On July 4, 1917, she was married to John Higbee in Ionia.

She is survived by her husband, John, two daughters, Mrs. Frances Dickinson of 
Ionia and Mrs. Jeanie Almy of Lyons; one son, Bruce of Ionia. One daughter, 
Lorraine, preceded her in death.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the cancer society, at the funeral home. 
Date and time of service to be announced later by Kauffman - Doughty funeral 
home.
