June Elaine (Sandborn) Higbee went to be with her Lord Monday, March 2, 2015 at
the age of 91.  She was born June 15, 1923 in Orange Township, Ionia Co., MI,
the daughter of the late Riley and Anis (Benschoter) Sandborn.  She was a member
of Crossroads Community Church in Eagle, as well as the North Eagle Cemetery
Society.  June loved spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed
crosswords, cooking and baking, gardening, and sending cards to family and
friends for every occasion.  She worked at Michigan National Bank for over 20
years.

She is preceded in death by husband, Robert Higbee; daughter and son-in-law,
Kathyleen and Charles Sandborn; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers.  She is survived by
her sons, Mark (Marleen) Higbee and John (Melissa) Higbee, and daughter, Jane
(Ronald) Brown; 3 brothers and 3 sisters; 10 grandchildren, 10
great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many loving relatives and
friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2014 – 11:00 a.m. at
Crossroads Community Church, 13940 S. Grange Road, Eagle, MI  48822.  Interment
will follow at North Eagle Cemetery, Eagle Twp., Clinton Co.  The family will
receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Peters & Murray Funeral Home
in Grand Ledge.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in June’s name may
be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care, Hospice Advantage of Lansing or
North Eagle Cemetery Society.
