The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 12, 1932

Charles N. Higgins, 31, born and reared in Easton, died at his home in Detroit 
Thursday.  The body will arrive in Ionia Saturday and will be taken to the 
home of his father, Horace Higgins, of Easton, where the funeral services will 
be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Dr. Paul L. Stewart in charge.  The burial 
will be in the family lot in the Easton cemetery.

Mr. Higgins graduated with the 1917 class of the Ionia High school at the age 
of 16.  He lived in Easton until he moved to Detroit, where he has held a 
position with the Hueber Manufacturing company.

He leaves his widow and two-year-old daughter; the father; these brothers and 
sisters: Frank B. Higgins, of South Ionia; Mrs. Mathew G. Bradley, of Ionia; 
Mrs. A. B. Finner, of Detroit; Mrs. Gerald Stitt, of Easton; and Clarence 
Higgins of Muir.
