Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. Oct. 11, 1951

SARANAC- Mrs. Eva J. Higgins, 82, died at her home in Keene township Wednesday, 
October 10, at 6:15 a.m. after being ill for the past year.

She was born in Easton township October 15, 1860, and lived all her life in 
Ionia County.

She leaves a sister, Mrs. Ida Snell, of Saranac; two grandchildren; seven 
great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Conner, of Keene township; 
three stepchildren, Glenn Higgins of Keene, Burr of Syrna and Mrs. George Gould 
of Greenville; and 12 step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Morris funeral. The 
Rev. H.S. Ellis will officiate. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.
