Marc Anthony Higgins, 48, of Belding died unexpectedly Saturday April 12, 2014 
at home.  Marc was born on February 15, 1966 in Greenville, the son of John W. 
and Deloris M. Edmonds Higgins.  He was married on February 14, 2009 in Morley 
to Debra Lyn McLeod. 
 
Marc enjoyed hunting, fishing and was just a good friendly guy who loved his 
family and his dog Spike. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Marc is loved and survived by his wife Debra and their children; Ryan Thompson 
of Belding, Angela Devereaux of Gowen, Daniel Seeley and Stephanie Tiffany all 
of Belding, his grandchildren; Richie, Daniel Russell, Daniel, Aiden, TJ, his 
brother and sister; John W. Higgins, Jr. of Belding, Shari L. and Terry 
Chamberlain of Rosebush, his father John W. Higgins Sr. of Belding several 
cousins, aunts and uncles. 

He was preceded by his mother, grandparents; Burdette and Susie Edmonds, Lynn 
and Virginia Higgins, his step father Ray Gillespie, an uncle; Dick Higgins and 
an aunt; Eleanor Kelly. 

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place with no visitation.  
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday April 17, 2014 at the Belding VFW 
Post 4406 with the VFW Chaplain officiating.  Following the service a luncheon 
will take place.   Inurnment will be at a later date with his family in River 
Ridge Cemetery, Belding.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the 
Higgins Family.  Envelopes will be available at the service or at Johnson-
Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, where cremation services have been entrusted.
