The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 22, 1963


Funeral service for Burr E. Higgins, 80, a native of Keene township, will be 
held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at Morris funeral home in Saranac.  He died 
Thursday at Brinks convalescent home in Ionia.

Me. Higgins was born in Keene township April 8, 1882.  He is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. Gladys Bradford and Mrs. Joyce Stewart of Belding; two sons, 
Cecil Higgins of Greenville, and Lynn of Belding; a brother, Glen Higgins of 
Keene township a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Gould of Greenville; six grandchildren 
and five great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Eldon Cummins will officiate and burial will be at Saranac cemetery.
