The Ionia County News, Thursday, January 9, 1947


Norman E. Higgins, Keene township, died at his farm home at 1:50 Wednesday 
afternoon, January 8.  He was 83 years old last July 23.

Surviving are his wife, Eva; two sons, B. E. Higgins of Smyrna and Glenn of 
Keene township; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Gould of Greenville, and eleven 
grandchildren.

Rev. H. S. Ellis of Belding will officiate at the funeral which will be from 
the home at two o’clock Sunday afternoon.  Burial in Marble cemetery.
