Belding Banner, 26 Jan 1905, page 5

The remains of Mrs. Ann Higgins, who formerly resided in the vicinity of the
Brink schoolhouse in Otisco township, were brought to this city Saturday night
from Traverse City and taken to Smyrna for burial.  The funeral was held in that
village Sunday.  Mrs. Higgins was 76 years of age and the cause of death was
acute bronchitis.
