The Ionia County Shopper’s Guide, March 8, 2014


Zane Highland, 63, of Flannigan Road, Orleans, passed away Tuesday, February 
18, 2014 on Dauphin Island, Alabama.

Zane leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Joan Highland, his mother Jeannine 
Highland, his brother Blain Highland, and sister Kristy (Ken) Walsworth, his 
son Zane (Angie) Highland, daughter Angela Knapp, son Douglas (Mary) Ritter, 
daughter Sandy Chapin, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many 
friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Highland, and his son Duane Lynn 
Ritter.
