She had been in failing health for three years and this attack had seemed but another of the many times she had been ill and had recovered. She had not gone to bed, but had laid down apparently to be in a more restful position. When her sister Mrs. Anna Schelter who was with her went to see if she was all right she found her dead. She had quietly slipped away. Thus another Christian mother leaves after years of faithfulness. The husband George V. Hildinger died in October, 1926. Mrs. Hildinger was 75 years old last December. She leaves one daughter Mrs. Anna Kussmaul of this place and four sons, Frank of Cleveland, Ohio, Lawrence of Lansing, Byron of Ann Arbor and George at home. Besides these are a sister Mr. Anna Schelter and two brothers David Smith of this place and George Smith of Woodbury. The funeral will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at the home and burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
