Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 21 Apr 1958

George D. Hildinger, 74, a retired farmer of route 3, Lake Odessa, died Sunday
at Pennock hospital in Hastings where he had been a patient for seven weeks. 
Mr. Hildinger had been ill for several months.  He was born October 29, 1883,
the son of George V. and Christiana (Smith) Hildinger.  He lived his entire life
on the farm on M43 where he was born.  Mr. Hildinger never married.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Anna Kussmal of Livonia; three brothers, Frank of
Cleveland, Ohio, Lawrence of Lansing and Byron of Ann Arbor, and nieces and
nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Pickens funeral chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m.  The
Rev. Robert Betz of the Woodland Evangelical United Brethren church will
officiate, and interment is to be at Lakeside cemetery.
