The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 11, 1925

Charles N. Hile, aged 68, passed away at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William 
Hile, West Main street, Thursday evening at 7:30.  Cancer was the cause of Mr. 
Hile’s death.

Mr. Hile was born in Ronald township and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin 
Hile.  He lived for many years on his farm in Easton township near Dildine.  
He is survived by no immediate family as his wife is dead.  Wesley Hile, 
prominent Ionia county farmer, is a nephew.

The body was removed to the Bradley chapel, where he will lie in state until 
the time of the funeral service Sunday afternoon at 2:30.  Burial will take 
place in Highland Park cemetery.
