Ionia Sentinel - Standard - November 11, Portland 1974
               MRS. LaVONNE HILL

   Mrs. LaVonne Hill, 40, died unexpectedly at her home at 239 Maple, Portland.

   She was born in Portland June 21, 1934, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Henry
Smith, Jr.

   Surviving are the husband, Charles; son, George Wilbur Jones, Ill, of LaPlate,
Md.; mother, Mrs. Catherine 
Smith of Portland.

   Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Neller funeral home of
Portland. Rev. Ronald Lahr of the 
Portland Congregational church will officiate and interment will be at the Sebewa
Baptist cemetery.
