Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Feb 1953

Mrs. Martha B. Hill, 68, of 410 East Lincoln avenue died at 10:40 p.m. Thursday,
February 5, at the Ionia Rest Home where she had been a patient since January
21.  She had been ill for eight years.  She was born July 10, 1884, in Ionia
county.  She was married January 31, 1906, to Claude Hill.  She had been a
resident of Ionia county all her life.

Surviving besides the husband are two sons, Harold of Ionia and Donald of
Detroit; four grandchildren; five brothers, Reinhold Meisling, Otto Meisling and
Alfred Meisling of Ionia and Herman and Frank Meisling of Kalamazoo; three
sisters, Mrs. Clara Gaut of Ionia, Mrs. Marie Maynard of Lansing and Mrs. Emma
Stong of Detroit.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  The Rev. Eric
Cash, pastor of St. John Lutheran church; will officiate.  Interment will be in
Highland Park cemetery.
