Diana Lee Hill, 60, passed away May 6, 2006 after a long, hard-fought battle
with cancer.  Hematology-oncology association and their entire staff played an
important role in keeping her going for almost 22 years.  They are the greatest!

Diana was born Dec. 15, 1945 to Robert and Doris Beard in Portland.  Diana was a
devoted hairstylist for over 40 years with a clientele that was a family to her.
 She enjoyed their company and making them beautiful week after week.

She was preceded in death by her father.  She is survived by her wonderful,
caring and supportive husband of 30 years, James.  Another love of her life, her
daughter, Lisa Leonard, was also by her side through it all.  She also leaves a
brother, Robert (Cathy) Beard of Ionia.  She left four terrific stepchildren:
Greg, Jeff, Katie and Darcie Murry; and five granddaughters: Courtney, Alyss,
Torrie, Savanna and Jadden.

Diana’s wishes were for cremation with no services.  She hoped that everyone
would celebrate life any way they wished.  Do not be sad; be happy and enjoy
every day of your life.
