The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 1, 1954

Mrs. Fannie Jane Hill, 49, died Saturday evening at her home at 718 North King 
street.  She was born in Easton township, March 23, 1905, the daughter of 
Frank and Nettie VanGeisen.  In 1924 she was married to Ben W. Hill who 
survives her.  She lived her entire life in Ionia county.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Gordon Hill of Chicago, Rollin at 
home; one daughter, Karen, also at home; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Peterson of 
Ionia and Mrs. Tom Telfor of Conklin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Myers funeral 
home with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.  Burial will be in the family 
lot at Easton cemetery.
