ROLLIN HILL, 81
Rollin "Ron" Hill, 81, of Saranac, passed away Jan. 30, 2018.

He was born March 8, 1936, in Ionia the son of Benjamin F. and Fannie (VanGeisen)
Hill. Ron married Alice Priest Dec. 11, 1971, in Ionia. He was a member of Zion United
Methodist Church in Ionia. Fishing and golf were his life. Ron Served in the Navy during the
Cuban Missile Crisis. Ron also enjoyed hunting and travel. He has been to every state
except Alaska and Hawaii.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Alice Hill of Saranac; children,
Rollin (Gill) Hill jr. of Fayetteville, Tenn., Jane (Dave) Hill-Littlejohn of Seattle, 
Robin (Russell) Russell of Seattle, Gordon (Angie) Priest of Ionia and Dorrell (Sue) 
Priest of Saranac; grandchildren, Max Littlejohn, Ben Littlejohn, Emily, Ethan Priest, 
Kristen Priest and Andrew Priest; great-grandchilren, Lily Priest and Mikayla; brother, 
Gordon (Mary) Hill of Westmont, ILL., and sister, Karen (Larry) Yaw of Sheridan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Zion United methodist
Church in Ionia with Pastor Cliff Allen officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
