                             GEORGE L. HILL

Former Ionia Resident and World War I veteran, George L. Hill, 74, died November 
18 at his home in Florida.

He was born October 18, 1898, in Orleans, the son of George and Sophia Hill. He 
spent most of his life in ionia county before moving to Florida for his health 
nine years ago.

He was married 1921 to Evaline V.Jarvis, who survives Other survivors are a son, 
George E.Hill of Tampa, Fla., three daughters, Mrs.Marian Fleming of Pittsburgh, 
PA., Mrs Alice Grineke of Grand Rapids and Mrs.Howard Crum of Chicago, ILL.; two 
sisters, Mrs.Milton Decker of Ionia, and Mrs. Hazen Hines of Belding; several 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were in Tampa, Fla., with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens 
at Tampa.

Attending funeral services at Tampa was Mrs.Hazen Hines of Belding.
