K. Hill, the painter, died at her home in this village on Friday morning last, of consumption, aged 53 years. She had been confined to the bed but a short time, however, and although her death was looked for at almost any time by her family, it was nevertheless, a sudden death. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Cuyler and Mrs. Atwell of this village and Mrs. Snow of Danby. Deceased was a member of the Congregational church of this village. The funeral services were conducted from the house of the deceased Saturday afternoon last, Rev. C. W. Bird officiating. Subsequent Publication – Wednesday, October 11, 1893 Card of Thanks: We desire to publicly thank those kind friends and neighbors who did so much to aid and assist us during the sickness and after the death of our wife and mother; and we particularly thank those who remembered us with gifts of flowers, etc. E.
