Rev. J. E. Cook of the Congregational church preached from 136 Psalm, seventh verse. Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Goodemoot sang. Burial was at Lakeside. Miss Hiller early in life was confirmed in the German Lutheran church and kept her faith through life. Obituary Barbara Hiller was born in Wurtenberg, Germany, June first, 1849. Died December third, 1924, aged 75 years, six months and two days. She came to America with her mother, one sister and three brothers in the year of 1856 to Sebewa township, to the farm now owned by Sindlinger Brothers. In the year 1866 she moved with her mother to the old home, where she died, now owned by her brother, C.G. Hiller. She has spent all but eight years in Odessa township, having spent the eight years at Las Vegas, New Mexico. She is survived by one brother, three nephews, four nieces and a host of relatives and friends. Those from away to attend the funeral of Mrs. Barbara Hiller where Mrs. Mary Kutz, Mrs. Elizabeth Kroft, Mrs. Marie Smith, Mrs. Ethel Breckenberg and C.W. Kussmaul all of Lansing, Mrs. Elvin Leedy and Mrs. Oda Eyestone of Ogden, Ill. and Miss Mary Hoch of Grand Rapids.
