KENNETH B. HILLIS
STANTON - Kenneth B. Hillis, 78, Stanton, died Monday in a Grand Rapids hospital.

He was born Aug. 28, 1907 in Stanton, the son of George and Bertha Hillis.

He was a lifelong Stanton resident.

He was a retired mechanic, having worked for the Montcalm County Road Commission and
retiring after 30 years with the Ionia County Road Commission.

He married Ethel Emmons Oct. 28, 1928.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; one son, Tom of Stanton; two grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.

On son Robert, preceded him in death in 1947.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m., from the Stebbins-Simpson Funeral
Home, with the Rev. Ross Winters officiating.

Burial will be in McBride Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home today from 7-8:30 p.m.
