Ionia Standard, 15 Sep 1911

The death of Mrs. Harriett N. Hills occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Dr. Chas. Knight, at Greenville, on Monday evening.  Mrs. Hills was 66 years of
age, and was the wife of the late Prof. A. J. Hills, a former teacher of singing
here.  The funeral services will be held at Greenville on Wednesday morning
after which the remains will be brought to this city for interment in Highland
Park.  There will be no service here.

The remains of Mrs. A J. Hills were brought to Ionia Wednesday from Greenville,
for interment in Highland Park.  The service at Greenville this morning was
conducted by Rev. E.E. Branch of this city, who also conducted a prayer service
at the grave here.
