Ionia County News - Thursday, Dec. 13, 1934

                     MRS. J. B. HILLS DIES IN CALIFORNIA HOME
Mrs. J. B. Hills died at her home in Los Angeles, California, last week 
following a heart attack, according to a letter received Tuesday by L. P. 
Brock, from his sister-in-law, Mrs. George Tunison, Los Angeles.

Mrs. Hills will be remembered as Miss Mamie Thatcher, daughter of Isaac 
Thatcher. The family resided on High St. and were prominently identified with 
business and social affairs of the city.

Mr. Hills, who survives, is a former Saranac boy, who headed a chain of 
furniture stores in Chicago, Boston, New York and San Francisco.
