Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 & 27 Oct 1964

Mrs. Ruth Francine Hills, 59, 212 West Summit street, Lyons, died Friday at West
Branch following a stroke.  She was born in Ionia county, December 5, 1904, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Krueger and following her married to Harold
Hills in 1925, lived in Muir and Ionia area.

Surviving are her husband, Harold; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Rogers and Mrs.
Francine Hartwick of Portland; a son, Fred Hills of Muir; nine grandchildren;
four brothers, Earl Krueger of Riverdale, Kenneth and Fred of Grand Ledge and
Donald of Lansing; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Gladding of Gladwin.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Muir Presbyterian church with burial
at Muir cemetery.  The body will be at Shaw-Rivett funeral home until Monday noon.

Funeral service for Mrs. Harold Hills was held Monday at 2 p.m. at Muir
Presbyterian church with Rev. Manson Lowe officiating and Mrs. Milo White as
pianist.  The bearers were Harold Sprank, Knight Kruger, Clare Lewis, John
Kruger and Lawrence lawless.  Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Muir.
