Ionia Sentinel Standard - Tuesday, 12 February 1935
Funeral Services for Charles Edward Hinds who died at his home in Wyandotte 
Saturday, were held at Wyandotte Tuesday afternoon.  Burial services will be 
held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Ionia.  Mr. 
Hinds was born in Ionia October 29, 1869 and he spent his boyhood days here.  
He was a locomotive engineer on the Pere Marquette railroad for 44 years and 
had been seriously ill for the past two years.  Surviving are his wife, Daisy; 
one son, Fred W. Hinds of Detroit; and a nephew, Leo Hinds, Ionia Township.
