Ionia Sentinel Standard, Mon., July 2, 1990
IONIA - Jessie W. Hinds, 97, of Ionia, died Saturday, June 30 at Ionia  County 
Memorial Hospital.

She was born the daughter of Steven and Sarah Wright Hinds on Dec., 2, 1892 in 
Orange Township.

She taught in rural schools, including Riker, LeValley, Keefer and Badder 
Schools, in the Ionia area for 39 years. She was a life long member of the 
LeValley United Methodist Church, a member of the W.S. C. S. of the church, a 
member of the Retired Teachers Association of Ionia, and she was a past 
treasurer of Orange Township.

Surviving are friends and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold and one sister, Lina.

Arrangements by Cook Funeral Home, Ionia.
Burial in Balcolm Cemetery.
